There's a brand new face in the world of vintage bridal. Meet Carly Reynolds of Mata Hari’s Daughter, a California designer specializing in head chic from the early 20th Century. She's one of the only retro designers I know of doing this Pre-WWI period--and doing it quite well I might add. These confections remind me of something out of a silent movie. Each of her pieces is an original, created crafted using fine antique and vintage textiles and treasures. Visit her Etsy Shop and find more gems from this highly romantic era of design . . .

Save 50% on Martha Stewart Craft Item
My daughters preschool class is having an "end of the year" carnival in a couple of weeks and I decided to volunteer to do a dessert station! This works two-fold because I have been wanting to write a post about a carnival theme wedding...fits right in for summer, don't you think? I have been having so much fun finding items (too many cute ideas!) and I can't wait to share all my awesome finds with you! I came across this HOT HOT HOT coupon from Joann's Fabrics:
It's a PDF coupon - which means you can print and use more than one - you just can't use them in the same transaction. The coupon states it is only valid "in store" and I did check their website just to see what kind of crafts they offer. The website has almost everything on sale for 25% off (remember, the coupon states it's on regular priced merchandise) so, I am hoping that in store you will be able to find a lot more items - and some that are not included in the sale! If anyone heads out to use this coupon, please let us know what you find! HURRY, the coupon is only valid until June 10, 2011!
If you don't have a Joann's Craft store near you, head on over to their website and you can take advantage of this offer online:
